Each works without the other; for a greenline owner, garden is optional, reached through greenline's connector, which is off until they enable it. greenline, with its optional garden connector, is free and open source under the MIT licence, and stays so. Every Fernworks product keeps four promises: local by default, no telemetry, real provenance and honest failure.
