Provenance
Every preserved method greenline installs is an edited copy of a source pinned by repository and commit. The ledger is the account of every difference: a content-identified hunk, the kind of edit it is, the reason in the maintainer's words, and the operator's ruling where the method itself changed. These pages render that account from the ledger and the frozen source trees at build time; nothing here is written by hand.
Nine kinds of edit exist. Five are mechanical (rename, harness, location, lifecycle, dependency) and hidden by default; four change what a reader would call the method's words or scope (vocabulary, scope, correction, method), and only a method edit changes what the method does, on the operator's ruling.
